The United States disavowed any involvement in the tragic incident where five Palestinians lost their lives during a humanitarian aid airdrop northwest of Gaza City. US Central Command (CENTCOM) stated that the casualties were not a result of US airdrops, expressing sympathies for the affected families.

The Palestinian Civil Defense Service reported the fatalities and injuries after parachutes failed to open properly during the aid delivery.

Arab countries, including Egypt, UAE, Jordan, Qatar, Oman, and Bahrain, along with the US, have been conducting joint operations to provide food aid to Gaza. Israel’s retaliatory offensive has caused substantial casualties, with the International Court of Justice ordering measures to ensure humanitarian assistance to civilians in Gaza.
